1. Booking enquiries to be made via the website Booking Enquiries Form
2. Bookings will be confirmed by You Play Soft Play via email
3. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment to be made by BACS
4. The remaining balance will be due by cash on the date of the booking upon completed set up of the hire equipment
5. A returnable £50 damage, loss, soiled deposit in cash will be required
6. Should you cancel your booking, the 50% deposit is non-refundable and therefore is forfeited. However if more than 14 days notice is given, the deposit can be transferred to rebook a future date providing the date is available for You Play Soft Play
7. Any and all changes to your booking must be communicated and agreed by You Play Soft Play via email
8. The full 50% deposit will be refunded should You Play Soft Play cancel the booking
9. All hires will be for indoor use only unless agreed otherwise
1. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to check the site measurements for the required package and to ensure that there will be adequate space surrounding the play equipment.
2. If sufficient space is not available for the package ordered, we reserve the right to remove certain items accordingly. You will still be charged the full amount of your original booking.
3. Please allow for 60 minutes before your event for You Play Soft Play to deliver and set up the equipment and the same time after your event to remove the equipment.
4. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure easy access to the venue for unloading and loading equipment.
5. Any potential access restrictions must be reported to You Play Soft Play prior to the event. Restrictions include but are not limited to; lack of parking, height restrictions, stairs, narrow doorways.
6. Failure to report access restrictions may result in delays to set up, an additional fee payable to You Play Soft Play or cancellation by You Play Soft Play. In the event of such cancellation the 50% deposit will not be refunded.
7. You Play Soft Play will endeavour to arrive and set up on time however, cannot be held liable for delay incurred due to circumstances beyond control. Circumstances include but are not limited to traffic congestion, adverse weather
8. All equipment will be delivered in a clean and sanitary state. Should there be significant dirt or staining upon collection the Hirer will be made liable for professional cleaning costs.
9. Hire equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed on arrival and will not be moved following set up.
10. The Hirer must inform You Play Soft Play staff of any damage, loss or soiling at the point of collection. Hire equipment must be returned in the same working condition as delivered.
11. You Play Soft Play will assess any damage incurred and agree appropriate action with the Hirer. An itemised invoice to cover loss, damage, or professional cleaning may be sent to the Hirer after hire if necessary, whereby costs exceed the £50 damage, loss, soiled deposit. Quotes will be sourced for replacement or mending and any such costs will be charged to the Hirer.
You Play Soft Play will not accept any responsibility for accidents, injury or damage during the period of hire.
1. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that all possible steps are taken to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage.
2. The equipment has an age limit of 5 years old and therefore should not be used by anyone beyond that age
3. No one is to lean on or sit on any of the hire equipment.
4. All packages will include a pack of anti-bacterial wipes for you to use during your hire if required. Any spillages must be cleaned and dried as soon as they occur.
5. All equipment will be cleaned before and after hire by You Play Soft Play staff.
6. No food, drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the equipment. Failure to comply may result in a cleaning charge/ the loss, damage, soiling deposit not being returned.
7. All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges, must be removed before using the hire equipment. Parents/ guardians who enter the area or walk over the padded floor tiles must remove their shows. Any damage may result in the Hirer having to pay an additional fee for replacement or repair.
8. Socks should be worn at all times for hygiene reasons.
9. No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers, silly string or similar objects allowing for colour transfer/ staining to be used either on or near the hire equipment.
10. No smoking near the hire equipment
11. A responsible adult (over the age of 18 years old) must supervise at all times. You Play Soft Play does not supervise the event. You Play Soft Play accepts no liability for any accidents or injuries that may occur whilst the equipment is on hire.
12. Always ensure that you limit numbers according to age and size if children using the equipment.
13. No pets or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the equipment.
14. Strictly no acrobatics or gymnastics to be performed on the play equipment.
15. Children must not push, collide, fight or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.
16. Do not allow children with medical conditions which may put them at risk of injury (i.e. brittle bone disease or temporary injuries, to use the hire equipment.
17. No pets or animals to be allowed on or near the hire equipment..
1. The Hirer is responsible for the safe keeping of the hire equipment during the hire period and will be held responsible and therefore charged accordingly for any damage caused and or missing items.
2. You Play Soft Play are covered by Public Liability Insurance; a copy of which is available upon request.
3. All confirmed bookings made via email are governed by these Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility as the Hirer to read and understand these Terms and Conditions prior to making a booking.
4. Payment of the 50% deposit shall be deemed as acceptance to these Terms and Conditions.
Please note that all persons using our equipment do so at their own risk. The person/ organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible/ liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment and this is the sole responsibility of the Hirer to ensure they are adhered to. You Play Soft Play cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment
